Here a Prodigal, There a Prodigal

Speaking of prodigality, I’m off to hear Brian McLaren tonight.  (Okay, you have to admit that’s funny.)  I’ve never heard McLaren, never seen him in person. 

Two Fridays back I heard Phil Ryken speak–for the record, not a prodigal.) Last Friday I heard one of my former professors, Mae Stewart, who introduced me to philosophy, speak as she received a lifetime achievement award.  This Friday it’s McLaren.  I’ll let you know how it turns out.
