Derek is Mortified and Paul is Not
Derek is Mortified and Paul is Not
May 1, 2013
A few more odds and ends.
Derek Thomas is interviewed on the latest Mortification of Spin, where he talks about potential family connections to Pelagius and Max Boyce and, on a more serious note, Calvin's sermons on Job, his own theology of preaching, and pastoring in the context of Northern Irish terrorism.
Mystery solved! The absence of Paul Levy from Ref21 is apparently not due to him being assassinated by high Presbyterians who object to prayer but rather the result of him finding an alternative gig which pays better. Good to see that all those EFL classes have finally paid dividends and that Paul is really taking his role as urban church planter seriously. Thanks to Mr. Moderator for the tip on that one.
The OPC journal for pastors and elders, Ordained Servant, is now available online. The topic this month is officer training; and there is also a review of Secret Thoughts of an Unlikely Convert.
