A New Church for a Once Holy City

Rick Phillips
I am excited to report the planting of Christ Church Presbyterian (PCA) in Charleston, South Carolina.  At the recent meeting of the Palmetto Presbytery, Dr. Jon Payne was approved to this call as church planter.  We are looking forward to a public informational meeting that will be held on Monday, March 25, at 7:00 p.m., at the South Carolina Society Hall (72 Meeting St., downtown Charleston).  Christ Church is planning its first public gathering for worship on June 9, 2013.  Charleston was once known as "the Holy City," and we are excited to join forces with fellow churches in the area in seeking a restoration of this great spiritual heritage.

If you are located in the Charleston area or have friends seeking an ordinary means of grace, confessionally Reformed church in that area, spread the word.  I will be at the informational meeting in March and will look forward to meeting any of our readers who can make it.
