A Change of Call

It's been quite a while since I contributed to the Ref21 blog, as numerous people have commented to me via email. Sorry about that. The bottom line is that I've just been a bit overwhelmed of late with the various obligations of my life. Book deadlines, PCRT, little league baseball... Okay, enough excuse making. Anyway, I appreciate Derek's patience as he has avoided all opportunities for snide comments regarding my failure to perform.
Another of my main preoccupations of late has been my acceptance of a call to a new church. Last month, my wife and I decided to accept the call to the pulpit of Second Presbyterian Church of Greenville, SC. It is very difficult to decide to move from one church to another. We have been greatly blessed during our time at First Presbyterian Church of Coral Springs/Margate, FL, but are completely convinced that God has directed our paths to our new destination. Please join us in praying for God's blessing on FPC's process of selecting a new senior minister (and let me highly recommend the church to all prospective candidates!). And you might pray for God's blessing and help as our family moves to our new church home in South Carolina.
