Returning to the blog after a few weeks absence, I notice two things:
1. Ligon really needs to stop posting R rated pictures on the page. That one of Shrek in a lady's wig is really too bad and likely to frighten our younger readers (Lig -- if you come after the bear cubs, those Momma Bears will tear you limb from limb, or so CRT tells me.....)
2. The Gospel Coalition. Anyone want to ask the question as to whether such parachurch groups like ACE actually help ecumenism or actually hinder it.....? Or, perhaps less contentiously -- and to prevent this blog self-decontructing in a haze of practical, self-referential incoherence: to what extent has there been sufficiently self-critical reflection on the nature both of the church and then of the parachurch in order to determine the extent/limits of the two and how the latter can best serve the former?
