Write. Eat. Sleep.

Stephen Nichols

Inspired by Ligon's post, I thought I'd share with you my activities for the week.  I have a slightly overdue manuscript for the good folk at Crossway.  But this week it'll get done.  I thought my days of all-nighters and cramming would have come to an end with receiving the seminary diploma, but alas they continue.  In those days we lived next to a convenience store.  I'd wander over about midnight and buy a hoagie, put a pot of coffee on, and sit down at the desk.  My wife would get up about six, just as I was finishing the paper and just in time for her to give it a quick proofread before I drove to Westminster.  You can check with Sean Lucas as to how coherent I was the rest of the day.  Oh how I miss seminary.

These days I couldn't stay up all night if my life depended on it.  But we'll have to see come the end of the week.  We might just be down to writing and eating.
