The Doctor for Dummies

Paul Levy
There have been a few reviews written of Engaging with Lloyd Jones (here, here and here) and we await Trueman's piece, but, in December, Evangelical Press brought out a lovely little biography of Lloyd Jones written by Eryl Davies which has gone largely unnoticed. If you've not read any biographies of the good Doctor this is the place to start. It's affectionately written but is a good introduction to his life and thought. Dr Davies doesn't dodge the controversies and, although he is sympathetic to Lloyd Jones' position, he is not one eyed. It's just over 100 pages and leaves you wanting more. It can easily be read in a couple of hours.
