The best book offer this year

Paul Levy
I've come back from holiday to find that it's Christmas and all because of the Banner of Truth. 7 cloth bound volumes of JC Ryle's Expository Thoughts on the Gospel for £45 or or $65. That's nothing short of crazy prices but then read the small print for ministers - you can get them for £15 $25, it's better than the Olympics.

Get rid of those terrible paperbacks with the spines that crack on opening, throw away the Baker Red edition, flimsy hard backs with the Times New Roman gold font shabbily embossed on them. Don't dabble with EP's Daily Readings on Ryle. Even those of you with the old school James Clarke edition will want to get rid of them for these bad boys

All hail to the Banner of Truth, they might like too many defensive reviews of Lloyd Jones' book but when it comes to clothbound books in the immortal words of the great philosopher Carly Simon ' Nobody does it better'.
