O dear...
I have just come across a blog by "Jeffrey" who describes himself as having been an evangelical Christian until April 2008 until, that is. Christianity "failed the insider test." Sad as this is, his latest blog lists five books which he deems important in answering the question, "but is it true?" Coming at number 5 is Pete Enns' book Incarnation and Inspiration, which he candidly describes this way: "could easily shake the faith of a conservative Christian, and could easily cause a conservative losing their faith to settle on a more moderate theology."
Oh, and C. S. Lewis' The Problem of Pain he describes a "complete lemon."
"Jeffrey" whoever you are, I pray you'll return to a firm conviction on the truthfulness of Christianity and the Scriptures.
