Let's Bee Liturgeecal

Rev Boadicea von Ribbentrop
The response to the Lady Gaga Mass has been overwhelming (thanks for writing in, mum!), and the dude who has been my research assistant these many years has even found the full text of the Missal online (though I am sure the brainwashed chauvinist Fascist lackeys of the running dogs of neo-Thomasite-Smithian Ligonduncanism would never allow the link to be placed on this site -- you'll have to google it, sisters! Let's smash the new realism together!).

The popularity of my post makes me think that readers may be interested in the liturgy written by a friend of mine, Sister Brenda of `The Voyage' (formerly St. Orlamund the Sceptic's, Chingford).  She democratically facilitates an ancient-future communal conversation too, and so she composed this form of service based on texts drawn from the dawn of time during the First Age of Disco.

The BeeGeevening Prayers

Sister Brenda:  There are stories old and true
of people so in love like you and me
and I can see myself
let history repeat itself.

Reflecting how I feel for you
thinking 'bout those people then I know
that in a thousand years
I'd fall in love with you again.

The People:    This is the only way that we should fly
this is the only way to go
and if I lose your love I know I would die.

A lesson should now be read either a passage from the works of St Barry, St Maurice, or St Robin; or from one of the epistles of the Pointer Sisters or Kid Creole and the Coconuts

Sister Brenda: Whether you're a brother or whether you're a mother,

The People:     You're stayin' alive, stayin' alive.

Sister Brenda:     Feel the city breakin' and everybody shakin', people,

The People:     Stayin' alive, stayin' alive.

Sister Brenda: Ah, ha, ha, ha,

The People:    Stayin' alive, stayin' alive.

All:         Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive.

Sister Brenda:   Lovers in ancient time, caught in the fire
Only the strong survive -- how can we face tomorrow
Live an illusion, don't let it fade and die

All:    Something deep inside you, a wing and a prayer will guide you
Something deep inside you

Repeat to fade
