C. Stacey Woods

This week I was privileged to attend a Philadelphia book signing for A. Donald MacLeod's new biography of C. Stacey Woods, the first general secretary of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship in the United States and the key founder of the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students.  The book is subtitled The Evangelical Rediscovery of the University.  A quick skim shows that the book does a good job of documenting the evangelically orthodox theological commitments of IVCF and IFES in their inception.
