.... and when it comes, it apparently brings great irony.
The shadowy figure known to the Reformed Underground simply as 'The Librarian' has brought to my attention the fact that the email advertising this year's Banner of Truth's "Christmas specials" includes the biography of that great fan of all things Christmassy, John Murray. Time to put up the tree (or 'pagan bush', to use JM's own favoured terminology), raise a glass of mulled wine to the memory of the great Scotsman, and gather the family round the piano for a few verses of 'Ding Dong Merrily on High!'
