Because When I Grow Up I Want to be an Old Woman*

It's that time of the week again, when the confessional and evangelical world is subjected to hear Carl, Todd, and me have a conversation that counts. Well, only if you want to. For our Bully Pulpit topic today, we discuss an issue in the church that I think many of you would agree needs some attention. Are we welcoming to all the generations in our church? It was an article written by Jonathan Storment over on Scot McKnight's blog that motivated the topic for the day. Storment actually calls this a crisis in the church, that we may be ill equipped to handle a church of five different generations. Is your church more populated by one generation over the others? Do the different age groups in your church make an effort to hang out together? Do the members in your church value the wisdom of the older generation? These are some of the things we talk about in our short time on the podcast. 2014-01-28T072925Z_1741464675_GM1EA1S16VV01_RTRMADP_3_MUSIC-BEATLESAlso, when you hear the MoS music come on, stay tuned for a little bonus. The Mortification of Spin is celebrating one year of broadcasting, and all of our birthday wishes have come true! Well, maybe not, but the three of us throw out some of our favorite things about the last year. As you can see, Todd and Carl got a little emotional.
